Lights for growing weed indoors are important, there are three types that can be used and none of these employs the use of regular light bulbs or lamps. These choices are metal halide, high sodium and florescent. Each of these has a different light spectrum and purposed during different stages of growth in the weed plants.
Metal halide lighting is best used during flowering of the weed plants, which is because they emit a blue light spectrum. While high sodium lighting emits a red and yellow spectrum of light that is best used when growing the marijuana plants during the vegetation stage. Then there is florescent lighting, which can be used instead of the other two.
